Application and Update (Kemaskini) for BR1M 2017
BR1M 2017’s registration for the new candidates and for the existing ones to update their information is open from 5th to 31st Dec 2016. Any person can check the status of his application on BR1M site.
How to make Application and Update BR1M Online
Existing BR1M beneficiaries don’t have to enlist again, however they need to upgrade individual data, including current addresses, dependentsí information and accurate bank account information to assure the payment of BR1M.
2016 BR1M application forms that have been filled can be submitted at the counters of:
1. State Secretary of Pejabat (SUK)
2. Revenue Service Centers (RSCs) IRB/ Cawangan IRB/ Urban Transformation Center (UTC) IRB
3. Resident/ District Office of Pejabat
4. Federal Development Department of Pejabat(JPP)
The application forms delivered by Email or fax will be unacceptable. The requiring documents to be submitted with BR1M 2016 forms are:
1. A copy of the recognition of the mate/subordinate with the presentation of Birth or Passport.
2. An attested copy of the mateís death/ divorce if the candidate’s status as Widowed/Divorced/Mother/ Single Father
For new candidates or upgrades BR1M 2016 Online, it can be done at the Inland Revenue Board Malaysia Official online portal.
Conditions for Eligibility:
The requirements for those who can request for and can get BR1M are as follows:
Should be Malaysian Citizens living in the country.
For the men and women, being the head of their families and their monthly gross incomes less than RM4000.
Elder citizens (60 years and above), having their gross monthly income less than RM4000.
As another category of E-Kaish in included in BR1M 2016, so the people should apply for it by submitting documents:
A copy of candidateís MyKad.
Copies of the relevant documents of the dependents.
A copy of the death certificate of the partner or Divorce certificate if the candidateís status is widowed/ Divorced/ Single Father or Mother.
Beneficiaries of Book Voucher are not applicable to requests for BR1M 2016.
Employees Death Allowances:
Death Benefit Aid of RM1000 will only be given to those families or elder citizens who are register with the Scheme and died in a time period of 1 Jan 2017 to 31 Dec 2017.
