Everything you need to know about BR1M this year

General Guide to the BR1M will proceed in 2017 with the inclusion of one new category and amount of aid increased as issued in Budget 2017.

The payment date of br1m going to be delivered to four categories is given below:
Payment Date of BR1M:
1. e-Kasih (gross monthly earnings underneath RM1,000: The BR1M aid of RM1050)
The first installment of the BR1M to the e-Kasih category will be of RM250 and will be deposited to the beneficiaryís bank account at the end of the month of Jan in 2017.
The second instalment will be of RM250 as well and will be deposited on 28 Apr 2016. The third instalment will be of RM300 and will be deposited on 15 Jun 2016.

The fourth and last installment of BR1M aid will be of RM250 and will be deposited on 28 Sept 2016
2. Income of Families up to RM3000: BR1M aid of RM1200
The payment to this category will be divided into four equal installments.
The first payment of the BR1M to this category will be of RM250 and will be deposited to the beneficiaryís bank account on 28 Jan 2016.
The second payment will be of RM250 as well and will be deposited on 28 Apr 2016. The third instalment will be of RM250 and will be deposited on 15 Jun 2016.

The fourth and last payment of BR1M aid will be of RM250 and will be deposited on 28 Sept 2016.
3. Income of families from RM3000 to RM4000: BR1M Aid of RM950
The payment to this category will be divided into four equal instalments.
The first payment of the BR1M to this category will be of RM200 and will be deposited to the beneficiary’s bank account on 28 Jan 2017.
The second installment will be of RM200 as well and will be deposited on 28 Apr 2016. The third payment will be of RM200 and will be deposited on 15 Jun 2016.
The fourth and last payment of BR1M aid will be of RM200 and will be deposited on 28 Sept 2016.

4. Adult Singles having their earnings up to RM2000: BR1M aid of RM450
Complete payment of RM400 will be deposited on 28 Jan 2017.
Burial service Scheme for the endowment of RM1,000 will proceed.

Ways of Disbursement br1m:
1. Bank Deposit:
BR1M payments will be deposited into the beneficiary’s bank account.
2. Payment Vouchers:
Applicants having no bank accounts will be given BR1M vouchers, that can be cashed at Maybank, Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) and CIMB.
